Indoor, Outdoor and Security Lighting

Good lighting can be the difference between making a room bright and welcoming or dark and dingy. With a huge variety of lighting types available such as down lights, spot lights, wall lights and LED lights, it's possible to create a lighting system to meet all kinds of needs, including safety, highlighting aspects and special features or to enhance the ambience of a room.

Lighting should not only look good but must also be safe and meet legal requirements. For example, lighting in bathrooms needs to meet British Standard 7671 section 601, which provides guidelines for the type of lighting that can be fitted in to the different "zones". The IP rating of a light identifies the zones that it's suitable for. All lights within damp areas must be at least IPX4(IP44) compliant.
