Electric Showers

Did you know that the electric shower was invented in Brazil in the 1930's? Since then they have been used all over the world, with millions of them sold each year. The reason they are so popular is that they require less energy to heat the water than a boiler. An electric shower works by heating cold water as it flows through it, meaning that it only needs to heat the water that you need to for the shower. This makes electric showers more energy efficient and ideal for homes with low water pressure. They also don't require a water tank and thus take up less space so can be fitted in small spaces or bathrooms where space is at a premium. Because there is no water tank, there is less chance of water leakages and water damage.
